The future of the African fintech sector will be discussed during the Africa Fintech Summit to be held on April 11, 2019, at the US Institute of Peace in Washington.
The main subjects to be discussed during the summit will be the future of banks and venture capital in the digital era, regulations, blockchain, digital identity, fund transfers and financial inclusion.
During the summit, African startups selected during the New-Venture Competition will have the opportunity to present their competences and their needs to a panel of investors.
A workshop organized by Insider Inc for fintech founders will also provide these startups with the opportunity to take part in leadership and brand exposure accelerated course.
The Africa Fintech Summit is organized by Dedalus Global, a consulting firm, in partnership with PeaceTech Lab.
Renowned executives like Olugbenga Agboola, co-founder and CEO of Flutterwave; Bunmi Akinyemiju, CEO of Venture Garden Group, Lanre Osibona, senior special assistant to the president of Nigeria on ICT and Gregory Thwaites, research director at WorldRemit will be present.
