Meet Kenyan entertainer, MC Rayan The DJ, uniting Africans in US with Afro-themed concerts

MC Rayan The DJ is an entertainer who was born in Kiambu, Kenya. He has hosted Kenya’s biggest musicians and entertainers such as Nonini, Vera Sidika, Arrow Bwoy and celebrities from other countries in sold out shows in Kansas City and Dallas.

A Kenyan born and raised entertainer Brian Ngendo, alias MC Rayan The DJ has joined African leaders in their mission to promote unity, not through politics but entertainment.

MC Rayan The DJ has been uniting Kenyans and other Africans from other countries in the US through Afro-themed events. Speaking in a phone interview with TUKO.co.ke, the entertainer disclosed that he had organised over 10 club events and concerts where Kenyans and other Africans met and bonded.

Ryan revealed in 2019 he successfully held sold out shows in Kansas City featuring a host of Kenyan musicians such as Nonini, Arrow Bwoy, Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo and Jose Chameleone.



The deejay, who doubles up as an events organiser and hypeman revealed that most of his events were held at Jambo Bar and Grill where most Kenyans meet to enjoy local music, cuisine and socialize.

MC Rayan The DJ said he decided to start Afro-themed events in US to unite Africans after seeing the gap following his 9 year stay in America. The Kenyan entertainer has also been working with Ugandan musician.

Through his events, he has been able to promote many Kenyan artistes and others from other countries such as Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania and Ghana. As an events promoter, the young Kenyan entertainer collaborated with other big wig events guru for major concerts in major states such as Seattle, North Carolina, Dallas, Miami.



Apart from Kenyan musician, he has also worked with Jamaican Konshens, Mavado and Demarco with the help of One Voice Promotions. All he says, aims at making sure Africans come together even while away from home and enjoy good music, bond and network.
