The Consul General of Ghana in New York; West Africa’s second-largest economy, Professor (Emeritus) Samuel K. Amoako has announced his country’s participation at the  USAfrica Business Expo; a B2B Exhibition, Conference and networking event which will hold during the 74th session of the UN General Assembly on Friday, September 20 to Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the Millennium Hilton, UN Plaza, Opp. UN Headquarters.

Going Back to Africa a blessing: Blacks who live, work and play on the continent say returning to the Motherland is beautiful

Close to the shores of Langma Beach in Ghana, West Africa, Carol Muhammad enjoys her six bedroom house with her husband, Robert Muhammad. The couple made the move from Phoenix, Ariz., to Ghana in May, after Robert Muhammad retired. 

The two haven’t looked back.

Big Tent hosts African leaders’ pre-conference gathering

Leaders from 11 African countries now serving the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in 22 states and 20 presbyteries across the United States gathered for the African Leaders Pre-Conference, sponsored by the Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministries at Big Tent 2019.

Those attending the African pre-conference at Big Tent in Baltimore joined in a Spirit-filled worship service Tuesday.

Pelosi, Congressional Delegation honor Ghana’s Rich Tradition in Ceremony with Paramount Chiefs, visit Historic Slave Sites to mark ‘The Year of Return’

Speaker Pelosi and Members of the Congressional Black Caucus traveled to Ghana’s Central Region to meet with tribal Chiefs and visit the slave dungeons at Elmina and Cape Coast Castles and the “Door of No Return” to observe “The Year of Return.” The delegation laid wreaths at both dungeons in remembrance of the millions who lost their lives and freedom in the transatlantic slave trade.
