Eritrian-Americans Tiffany Haddish was the star of the black carpet at the Koshie Mills presents “The Diaspora Dialogues” on Saturday afternoon (March 9) at the Marriott Hotel in Marina del Rey, Calif.
The 39-year-old Girls Trip actress looked pretty in a burgundy, velvet jumpsuit as she stepped out for the event.
The Diaspora Dialogues is a platform and a movement created by Koshie Mills designed to break down barriers, bridge the gap between Africans from Africa and the descendants outside of the continent in the Diaspora.
This year’s International Women Of Power event had a myriad of powerful influential women from Africa, West Indies, UK and America.
Among the 2019 Honorees were, Entertainment ROAR NYA GYIDI Award recipient Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip, Night School), Fashion Nova Cares Presents the Fashion Queen NSAA Award, Ryan Destiny (Fox’s Star), Estee Lauder Presents the Diaspora Dialogues SANKOFA Award.
Rosario Dawson and Abrima Erwiah (Studio 189), Dove Presents the Goddess Beauty DUAFE Award, South African Actress Nomzamo Mbatha and Warrior ADINKRAHENE Award, First Lady of Sierra Leone H.E. Fatima Maada Bio was also at the event.

Wendy Raquel Robinson (ABC Grand Hotel, The Game) with a special live performance by Musical Artist, Songwriter and Actress V. Bozeman(Empire).
The platform allows Africans to engage in a series of intimate conversations via a television talk show format, events, public forums and discussions with entertainers, Influencers, tastemakers, local heroes and change agents.
The Diaspora Dialogues facilitates cultural exchange while fostering empathy for the purpose of uniting the global descendants of
Africa to sustain future generations.
Koshie Mills is best known as a power broker in Hollywood. Before founding her boutique consulting and public relations firm K3PR, her experience in the entertainment industry came from over two decades of managing the careers of her three successful sons who are actors, tastemakers and young moguls within the television and film industries.
